The speaker for June will be Mr. Frank Lin, who is the Orion Vehicle Manager for Artemis I, III, and IV. His talk will provide an overview of the Artemis Mission I, and will include information about future Artemis missions.
There will be a Tribute to George Abbey at 9:00 A.M. on Friday June 7, 2024 at Johnson Space Center in the Teague Auditorium, followed by a a Tree Planting Ceremony. Shuttles will be on hand to take guests from the Teague Auditorium to the Astronaut Tree Grove and back.
The MSOA group is having an Apollo11 55th Anniversary/Reunion. It will be on July 20 from 5 to 9 pm at the Lone Star Flight Museum (LSFM) at Ellington Field for members plus Guests. It will be informal with a meal and soft drinks provided with a cash bar. They are still working on the food vendor so ticket price is TBD. The MSOA will sell tickets starting June 1 and close around the first week in July.
