Bruce passed away on August 10, 2023 at the age of 91. He retired from NASA after a 26-year career with STG at MSC/JSC.

Sharon passed on August 10, 2023.

Sharon’s career began with work on thermal and vacuum testing and micro-electronic design before progressing to “Mission Control” which she spent eleven years. She then moved into Program Management and the integration of Payload into both the Space Shuttle and Space Station programs.

Leo passed away on August 9, 2023 at the age of 82. He retired from NASA after a 30-year career at JSC.

Donna passed away on July 23, 2023. She retired from NASA after a long career at MSC/JSC.

Richard died on July 14, 2023 at the age of 93. He worked in the Engineering Directorate, the Center Operations Directorate and supported the Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate. He was involved with the Gemini Program, Apollo Program, International Space Station Program, and the WB-57 High Altitude Research Program. 

He passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 94. He was the Texas Deputy Chief, Landing and Recovery Division (1966-1969), Manager of the Lunar Receiving Laboratory, Science and Applications Directorate (1970-1972), Assistant Director, Science and Applications Directorate (1972-1976), Assistant Director, Space and Life Sciences Directorate (1976-1986)

He died on July 9, 2023 at the age of 86.  He worked in the Instrumentation and Electronics Division (Space Electronic Systems Division/Telemetry Communications Systems Division) and the Propulsion and Power Division in Engineering and Development Directorate from 1962 until 2002. 

TiVo passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 81. Tivo worked as an engineer for NASA and was in charge of the Shuttle Training Aircraft (STA) simulation section from the beginning of the program until it ended.

Obituary

Rob passed away on June 29, 2023 at the age of 59.  Rob worked as an engineer for NASA in a variety of capacities for 36 years, most recently as ISS Safety Chair for the ISS Safety Review Panel.

Bill passed away on June 10 at the age of 91. He joined JSC in 1962. He served as Director of Finance from 1979 - 1981 and then as Deputy Director of Center Operations from 1981 until his retirement in 1985.
